Lake Martin Amphitheater was built in 1998 by Russell Lands Inc. on a bluff overlooking Lake Martin. It is managed by Lake Martin Arts Council, a 501c3 organization, to provide entertainment, art and cultural events for the Lake Martin community.

Throughout the course of the year, events attract thousands to the Lake Martin area. The venue’s many events include Memorial Day, Alex City Jazz Fest, and Labor Day concerts and Fourth of July Fireworks.
